USS Silverado

You have the bridge.

We had to procure some feed for all of the critters this evening, and drove the truck right down by the coop and barn in order to unload. Picard Roo was immediately interested in the opportunity that the rolled down window provided him, and was perched on the sill for several minutes. I scooted up to the house to grab my camera, and by the time I returned, he was inside, exploring the cab interior, and trying to figure out who the other handsome rooster he saw in the rear window was (thanks to the reflection created by the hay bales stacked up in the bed behind it.)

Amazingly, he managed not to poo the entire time he was inside – something for which I’m awfully grateful! I think it’s kind of nifty how both George and I managed to get into this particular shot, unintentional as it was.

I even managed to grab some video of the little guy!

And yes. I know. I know. My narration on the video. As you can see, Picard Roo was unamused too – after all, he abandoned ship after that joke. This is likely representative of how you feel about it:

But hey, you knew I was a dork already.
